After painting this full access toilet in wonderful yellow ochre and turquoise blue the team at Arkwright Meadows have nicknamed it the beach hut toilet!

Sandown Allotments, Nairn, Inverness

Sandown allotments at Nairn were the subject of an episode of BBC Scotland's Beechgrove Gardens series and the installation of this wheelchair accessible composting toilet was filmed for the programme.

CLIENT CONSTRUCTED BUILDING

Sustainable Living Initiative, Norwich

NatSol supplied the complete toilet system which forms the foundations and floor for the building which the clients built.

Toilet for Echo Crafts Group at Minster College, Leominster

This toilet was squeezed into an unused corner of an organic garden.

CHURCHES

The NatSol COMPUS TWIN toilet is an excellent alternative to Trench Arch systems for rural churches with no mains sewer connection available.



Llanegryn Church, Wales

A fully accessible toilet for a church in West Wales. This was incorporated into an existing stone outbuilding.

Thurlby Church, Lincolnshire

A fully accessible toilet for a church without water or sewage connections. We supplied the building as part of the package. The naturally durable timber cladding is sourced in Mid Wales.

Dogmersfield Church, Hampshire

An installation similar to the Thurlby one above. NatSol will shortly be making available a timber building with double pitched roof which it will be possible to finish in a range of materials to tie in with existing buildings.

RESERVES


Coed y Dinas Nature Reserve, Welshpool

This toilet provides a much needed facility for school parties and other visitors to this bird reserve managed by Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust. NatSol is a corporate member of MWT and this is the second toilet supplied to them.

Hilbre Island, Wirral

The official opening of two fully accessible toilets on a very sensitive site.

Hilbre is a Local Nature Reserve within a Site of Special Scientific Interest, a Special Protection Area, a Wetland of International Importance, a candidate Special Area of Conservation and a Regionally Important Geological and Geomorphological Site.

Our waterless toilets were chosen mainly because of their low environmental impact.

Blithfield Reservoir, Abotts Bromley

One of 4 toilets for fishermen and bird watchers alongside a reservoir managed by South Staffs Water Board.

Engineer's toilet for National Grid Wireless, Waltham

Prior to making this installation engineers had to go off-site to find toilet facilities. We fit alcohol based gel hand cleansing dispensers as standard and so no water supply is required to our toilet facilties. This particular installation has fan driven ventilation.

FORESTRY


ARCHITECT DESIGNED BUILDING

Forestry Commission toilet at Salen, Acharacle, Scotland.

The building was designed by Chris Morgan of Locate Architects and uses a standard NatSol base unit to form the foundations and floor.

The project is shown nearing completion. NatSol supplied vaults and other components.

Completed January 2007.

EDUCATIONAL CENTRES


Beaudesert Farm, Rugeley

A rear view of the two wooden buildings and toilets we supplied for this educational farm where parties of school chrildren visit. Cladding is Western Red Cedar sourced in Wales.

The Centre for Alternative Technology

A COMPUS TWIN bench seat in the Autonomous Environmental Information Centre [ATEIC] at the Centre. This is a urine separating twin vault toilet.

Garden pavilion, Llanidloes

A bespoke design by Andrew Warren which includes storage shed and toilet which is an above gound COMPUS TWIN with urine separation. The masonry toilet vaults are accessed through vertical hatches.

We provided components and design assistance for a twin vault, urine separating toilet in this coastal location on Jersey.

Allotment site in Ealing, London

An early above ground COMPUS TWIN toilet on an allotment site. This picture was taken during construction and before the addition of a ramp to facilitate wheelchair access. Our wheelchair accessible cubicles are now built with underground vaults to avoid the need for ramps.

These flat packed timber buildings are shown being checked for assembly prior to dispatch. The cladding is currently Western Red Cedar sourced in Wales. This is naturally durable.
